Classic Lecture
Classic Lecture classrooms are typically instructor facing spaces where the there is a primary teaching location. The teaching location in each of these spaces is defined by the chalk/white boards and AV technology locations.
Computer Lab
These spaces are designed for large groups of students to all be able to use a computer that has been provided in the space. These computers have the same software packages as each other. In our computer labs there is also an instructor's PC tied into the in-room AV technology.
Collaborative
Collaborative classrooms are designed with multiple technology stations around the room that students can use individually or in small groups. The technology provides students an opportunity to use their own devices or a campus provided computer. The furniture in these spaces is designed to be flexible and moveable.
Panopto Equipped
Rooms that are recording ready have a Panopto recorder built into the system. Once the request has been made to Learning Space Services that you'd like to record the system will be set up to automatically start and stop the recording process. There is no ad-hoc recording enabled in these spaces and every recording must be scheduled.
Please call our help line 916-278-7337 (opt 1) or submit a service ticket to schedule a recording in these spaces.
Wireless Presentation
Classrooms that are outfitted with an Extron Sharelink wireless presentation device are capable of sharing any of your devices' screens. As long as they are able to download the required application (Windows, MacOS, Android, iOS).

No Technology
The rooms in this list have not been updated to provide any in-room technology. Our goal is to put technology in every teaching space on campus. While plans may or not exist for these rooms Learning Space Services will get in-room technology installed in these spaces.
